2010 United States Hall of Fame & National Training Camp

To Be Held On:

July 29 - July 31, 2010

Sheraton Downtown Hotel

Nashville TN

The 2010 United States Martial Arts Hall Of Fame and National Training Camp will be held from July 29 - July 31 at the beautiful Sheraton Downtown Hotel in Nashville TN. This year as always, promises to be the biggest and best Martial Arts Hall Of Fame to date.

Preceding the 2010 Hall of Fame banquet Saturday evening will be the Hall of Fame’s National Training Camp from July 29 - July 31.  This camp will bring together some of the top martial arts instructors, representing a significant cross-section of the budo, who will be teaching a number of open hand, weapons, ground fighting and self-defense seminars to students and instructors from around the world.

Our National Kid’s Camp will be held in conjunction with the National Training Camp and Hall of Fame.  Designed specifically for children between the ages of 6-16, this camp will focus on helping the “next generation” of martial artists grow and mature in the arts, while exposing them to its history and rich lineage.

Each year we also host one of the Nation's top Defensive Tactics Program. This year will be no different. We will be featuring a 3 day Certification program. The Combative Defense Tactical Training Options Program is a Defensive Tactics Instructors Certification Program designed for Law Enforcement, Military and Security Personal.

This DT course is a physically demanding and intensive training program. The DT Certification Course provides instruction on techniques used in controlling compliant and non-compliant suspects, weapon retention, weapon recovery, and intermediate weapons. At the conclusion of this program, the student will be Certified and able to teach and instruct a program for their agency which includes arrest techniques, defensive tactics and intermediate weapons. Each student will receive an Instructors Certificate of Training.

The Grandmaster’s Council will also be held on Friday, July 30.  This is a unique opportunity for instructors to present themselves for rank advancement to a panel of Shihans, Sokes, and Grandmasters, as well as an opportunity for instructors, students and guests to enjoy a series of martial arts demonstrations.

The event will conclude with the prestigious United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Banquet on Saturday, July 31.  This black tie affair honors martial arts students and instructors from around the globe, and is the culminating event of the National Training Camp.
